Your Students
Classes in South West Delhi reflect varied learning paces and home languages, so differentiation is built into daily planning. You will support learners who arrive with differing prior knowledge and help them see themselves in the past and present.
Key Responsibilities
Design weekly Social Science units mapped to NCERT themes for Grades 1–5, ensuring age-appropriate depth in history timelines, physical features, and community rights.
Deliver two consecutive classes daily with differentiated worksheets and small-group discussions that cater to emerging, on-level, and advanced readers.
Use simple local references—like Delhi’s changing neighbourhoods or the Yamuna’s course—to make abstract concepts concrete and memorable.
Administer informal formative checks every fortnight to track concept grasp and adjust follow-up activities accordingly.
Collaborate with PRTs in English and EVS to integrate reading, writing, and map skills across subjects.
Maintain a learner-friendly classroom library of age-appropriate Social Science books and maps.
Conduct monthly parent micro-meetings to share progress and suggest home-based reinforcement.
Participate in New Era Public School’s monthly curriculum review sessions to refine pacing and resources.
Who Can Apply
Graduates with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed and a valid CTET certificate are eligible. Three years of full-time teaching experience in a primary classroom is required. Candidates who have taught Social Science at PRT level in Delhi schools receive preference.
