Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning, execution and evaluation of school theatre productions, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and community engagement.
- Develop and maintain a calendar of events, workshops and performances, collaborating with administrative staff to secure venues, equipment and budgets.
- Lead the creation of a theatre curriculum that supports extracurricular enrichment, while liaising with teachers and parents to integrate arts into the broader learning experience.
- Oversee procurement of props, costumes and technical gear, negotiating with suppliers and managing inventory records.
- Provide guidance to volunteers and student participants, fostering a safe and creative environment for all.
- Report progress and outcomes to senior management, preparing regular updates on audience reach, student participation and financial health.
Qualifications & Skills
- Post‑graduate degree (M.A., M.Com, M.Sc, MBA, etc.) with a focus on arts, management or related field.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred; TET/CTET not mandatory but advantageous.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with experience in event management and team coordination.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic school setting.
