Day-to-Day Duties

- Develop and implement effective career guidance programs for students in grades IX to XII.
- Conduct regular one-on-one and group counseling sessions to support students in their academic and career aspirations.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to identify and address students' needs and concerns.
- Organize career fairs, workshops, and events to expose students to various career options and opportunities.
- Maintain records of student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and teachers.
- Develop and review curriculum and training materials for career guidance programs.
- Network with local educational institutions, industries, and organizations to create opportunities for students.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and events to promote career awareness and development.
- Conduct career assessments and provide guidance on career choices and pathways.
- Stay updated on industry trends and job market requirements to inform career guidance programs.
Required Qualifications

- Postgraduate degree in Counselling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in career counselling or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Indian education system and career pathways.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with TET/CTET (although not required, it's preferred).
