What You Will Do
Maintain all computers, printers, and peripherals in the lab to avoid downtime during classes. Install, update, and troubleshoot software as per the school’s academic calendar and exam schedules. Keep an inventory of equipment and consumables, submitting requests when stock runs low.
Monitor the lab during assigned periods to guide students on basic usage and safety. Ensure the internet connection and Wi-Fi remain stable for online assignments and research. Assist the administration in preparing lab usage reports for the principal and coordinators.
Coordinate with the IT vendor for annual maintenance and emergency repairs. Train new staff on lab protocols and emergency shutdown procedures. Keep the lab clean and organized so that every visit feels ready for learning.
Eligibility
Post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or MCA. Minimum two years of experience as a lab assistant or technician in a school or similar institution. Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and basic networking is essential. Familiarity with DTP or multimedia tools is a plus.
