Job Overview
Sri Venkateshwar International School in Patel Nagar, West Delhi, is seeking a qualified PRT Computer Science Teacher to join our team. Your Students
Our students come from diverse backgrounds in West Delhi, with a mix of urban and semi-urban profiles. They are curious, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. As a PRT Computer Science Teacher, you will be working with students from 1st to 5th standard, and your role will be to make computer science fun and engaging for them.
What You Will Do
- Teach computer science concepts to students in a way that is easy for them to understand and relate to
- Develop interactive lesson plans that incorporate storytelling, demonstrations, and hands-on activities
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including worksheets, project-based learning, and gamification, to keep students engaged
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's computer science curriculum
- Engage with parents through regular updates and progress reports, and involve them in their child's learning journey
- Participate in school events and activities that promote computer science education and awareness
- Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment, with high expectations and clear boundaries
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in computer science education and integrate new ideas and technologies into your teaching practice
Eligibility
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a postgraduate degree in computer science or a related field, with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. You will also need to have a minimum of 3 years of experience teaching computer science to students in primary school. TET/CTET certification is not required, but it is an added advantage.
