Job Overview
As a PRT Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching dance to students from 1st to 5th standard. You will create engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students and help them develop their coordination, rhythm, and expression.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver dance lessons that are fun, interactive, and challenging for students.
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages students to take risks and explore their creativity.
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including storytelling, demonstrations, and interactive activities, to engage students and promote learning.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Maintain a well-organized and clean dance studio, ensuring that all equipment and materials are safe and accessible for students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school events, including cultural festivals and performances.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress and dance-related activities.
- Develop and implement assessments and evaluations to measure student learning and progress.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in dance education and incorporate new ideas and methods into your teaching practice.
Eligibility
- Postgraduate degree in Dance or a related field (M.A. or M.Sc).
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- 2 years of experience in teaching dance to primary students.
- Fluency in Hindi and English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
