About This Role
This English Teacher position at Sri Venkateshwar International School in Patel Nagar, West Delhi, Delhi is now accepting applications for a PRT English Teacher Vacancy in West Delhi. We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced English Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students from class 1 to 5.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan and deliver lessons to students in grades 1 to 5.
2. Prepare and administer tests, quizzes, and exams to evaluate student progress.
3. Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
4. Use a range of teaching methods to engage students and promote interactive learning.
5. Prepare and use visual aids, such as charts, graphs, and diagrams, to support teaching.
6. Use technology, such as educational software and apps, to enhance teaching and learning.
7. Communicate with parents and colleagues to ensure smooth transition of students.
8. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
9. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to improve teaching skills.
Eligibility
Must Have
- Post-graduate degree in English or related field (M.A., B.Ed., D.El.Ed.)
- CTET/TET certification not required but desirable
- 2 years of experience as an English Teacher in a recognized school
- Strong knowledge of English language and literature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good to Have
- NET/SET certification
- Experience with CBSE/ICSE curriculum
- Knowledge of technology integration in teaching
