Sri Venkateshwar International School is looking for a PRT Evs Teacher to shape young minds in West Delhi. Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver Evs lessons for classes 1 to 5 using activity-based methods. Prepare worksheets, demonstrations, and field-related projects that make learning tangible. Conduct storytelling sessions around nature, animals, and community helpers to build interest.
Organize monthly nature walks or visits to nearby green spaces for hands-on observation. Use simple experiments to explain weather, water cycles, or plant growth in an age-appropriate way. Ensure classroom discipline while encouraging student participation and curiosity.
Prepare monthly progress reports and share observations with parents during PTMs. Collaborate with fellow PRT teachers to align Evs topics with school events like Van Mahotsav or cleanliness drives. Maintain clean, child-friendly classrooms with relevant charts and displays.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Science, Environmental Studies, or related field. B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution. Minimum 3 years of Evs teaching experience in primary classes. Familiarity with Delhi’s school curriculum and local teaching methods is preferred.
Preferred Skills
Strong storytelling and demonstration skills for primary-level Evs. Ability to create low-cost teaching aids using local materials. Experience with student-centered learning and interactive classroom techniques. Comfortable communicating with parents in Hindi and English.
