About This Role
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons to students from Class 6 to 12.
- Develop and implement curriculum-aligned teaching materials and resources.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve learning outcomes.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and respect for diversity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate regularly with students and parents.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in Social Science education and best practices in teaching.
- Contribute to school events and activities that promote Social Science education and awareness.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Social Science or related field (B.A., B.Com, B.Sc. with Social Science as a subject).
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized institution.
- CTET or TET certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Social Science, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
