Responsibilities
The PRT Theatre Teacher will design and conduct engaging theatre lessons that foster creativity, confidence, and collaborative skills among students at Gd Goenka Public School. Daily duties include planning lesson plans, rehearsing skits, and guiding students through drama exercises that align with school objectives. The teacher will also coordinate school performances, manage props and stage setup, and collaborate with other faculty to integrate theatre into interdisciplinary projects. Regular assessment of student progress through auditions and peer feedback is expected, ensuring a supportive learning environment.
Qualification
Candidates must hold a graduate degree and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Applicants should demonstrate a passion for theatre arts and possess strong communication skills suitable for a school setting. The role requires a creative mindset and the ability to inspire students to explore theatrical expression.
Experience
A minimum of one year of teaching experience in a school setting is required. Salary
The salary for this full‑time position ranges from Rs.20,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
