How You Will Teach
As a PRT Theatre Teacher at Kamal Public Sr. Sec. School, you will employ practical methods to engage students in theatre education. You will use a range of tools, including scripts, costumes, and props, to bring theatrical concepts to life in our state-of-the-art auditorium. You will also conduct lab and activity-based work to foster creativity and critical thinking in students.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and implement engaging drama and theatre lessons for students of all ages and skill levels.
2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive curriculum for theatre education.
3. Conduct workshops and productions to showcase student talent.
4. Collaborate with teachers to integrate theatre into other subjects.
5. Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for students.
6. Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
7. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school events.
8. Maintain a clean and organized classroom and theatre space.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Theatre, Performing Arts, or related field.
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed required for teaching positions.
- TET/CTET preferred.
