What You Will Do

1. Provide individual and group counselling sessions to students, focusing on their emotional well-being, academic performance, and personal growth.
2. Develop and implement counselling programs to promote mental health awareness and prevention of substance abuse among students.
3. Collaborate with teachers and parents to identify students' needs and provide support for their academic and personal development.
4. Conduct regular workshops and training sessions for teachers on topics such as classroom management, stress reduction, and communication skills.
5. Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, student progress, and programme evaluations.
6. Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in school counselling and make recommendations for programme improvement.
7. Provide crisis intervention and referrals for students in need of further support.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.
Who Can Apply

To be eligible for this position, you should possess a postgraduate degree in Psychology or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in school counselling or a related field is also required. Knowledge of computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office, is essential.
