Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily Taekwando practice sessions for batches of 20 to 30 students across different skill levels. Maintain attendance records, performance logs, and injury reports for each student in coordination with the school’s health and safety coordinator. Organize monthly inter-house Taekwando competitions and prepare teams for Delhi State School Games events.
Coordinate with the sports department to procure and maintain Taekwando gear including doboks, pads, belts, and safety equipment within the allocated budget. Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and is stored properly in the school’s sports room. Oversee the inventory and submit purchase requests for replacement or upgrade of gear as needed.
Train and supervise junior Taekwando assistants hired on a part-time basis, providing guidance on lesson planning and student engagement techniques. Conduct monthly feedback sessions with assistants and recommend their performance for future roles or certifications. Assist in organizing workshops for parents to explain the benefits of Taekwando for child development.
Represent Kamal Public Sr. Sec. School in inter-school Taekwando tournaments across West Delhi, ensuring teams adhere to competition rules and school discipline. Prepare students mentally and physically for matches, including warm-up routines and post-match recovery protocols. Submit tournament reports to the principal within one week of each event.
