Responsibilities
Plan and deliver Gujarati language lessons for primary classes, aligning with the school curriculum and state guidelines. Prepare teaching aids, worksheets and visual materials to make concepts clear and enjoyable. Conduct regular assessments, record progress and provide feedback to students and parents. Manage classroom discipline while fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. Participate in staff meetings, parent‑teacher interactions and school events. Support co‑teachers in interdisciplinary activities and contribute ideas for curricular improvements. Maintain attendance registers, lesson plans and other required documentation accurately. Encourage reading habits by organizing Gujarati story sessions and cultural activities. Keep abreast of new teaching techniques and incorporate them into daily lessons.
Qualification and experience
A graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Gujarati or a related field is essential. Candidates with TET or CTET certification will be preferred. Minimum two years of teaching experience in a primary school setting is required. Strong communication skills in Gujarati and English, along with a passion for child development, are necessary.
Salary and location
The position offers a salary of Rs.14,000 - Rs.25,000 per month. The school is located in Ahmedabad, Ahemdabad, Gujarat.
