Adani Vidya Mandir in Ahemdabad is looking for a full‑time TGT Gujarati teacher. The role involves delivering Gujarati language curriculum to secondary students and fostering a love for literature in a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities
1. Plan, prepare and deliver Gujarati lessons as per the state syllabus for classes IX to XII.
2. Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback.
3. Organise co‑curricular activities such as debates, essay competitions and cultural programs to enhance language skills.
4. Maintain accurate attendance, grade books and classroom records in accordance with school policies.
5. Collaborate with senior teachers and the principal to design interdisciplinary projects.
6. Mentor students for academic improvement and guide them in career counselling related to language studies.
7. Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops and parent‑teacher interactions.
8. Ensure a disciplined, inclusive and motivating classroom atmosphere.
Qualification and Experience
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Gujarati or a related field along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Minimum two years of teaching experience at the secondary level is required. TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills in Gujarati and English are essential.
Salary and location: Rs.25,000 - Rs.45,000 per month, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
