Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver science lessons for Grades 1–5 using activity-based learning methods.
2. Prepare low-cost teaching aids and conduct simple experiments in class.
3. Assess student understanding through oral quizzes, worksheets, and observation records.
4. Organize science fairs and nature walks to enhance practical learning.
5. Maintain classroom discipline and ensure safety during science experiments.
6. Collaborate with PRTs in other subjects for interdisciplinary projects.
7. Attend weekly subject teacher meetings and contribute to curriculum reviews.
Who Can Apply
Postgraduate candidates with B.Ed or D.El.Ed are eligible. Prior experience in primary science teaching is mandatory. TET/CTET is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with Gujarati or Hindi medium pedagogy is an advantage.
Salary and Benefits
The PRT Science Teacher position offers Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 per month based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include PF contribution, annual health check-up, and subsidized school transport for staff.
