Job Description
PRT English Teacher – St. Marys English School, Bhavnagar
St. Marys English School in Bhavnagar is hiring a full‑time PRT English Teacher. The role involves delivering the English curriculum to primary classes and supporting the overall language development of students.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct English lessons for primary sections in line with the school syllabus.
- Assess student progress through classwork, oral activities and periodic tests, providing feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, interactive learning environment.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in school events, parent‑teacher meetings and co‑curricular activities as required.
- Assist senior teachers in preparing teaching aids and resources for English classes.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in any discipline.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred; TET/CTET qualification is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in English at the primary level.
Compensation
- Salary range: Rs.14,000 – Rs.24,000 per month.
