Welcome to St. Mary’s English School in Bhavnagar. Nestled at Shivaji Circle on Ghogha Road, our campus spreads over twenty‑seven acres of green space in Subhashnagar, a part of the city that feels both lively and close‑knit. Since opening our doors in 1998 under the guidance of the Vidyajyoti Charitable Trust, we have grown into a place where more than two thousand students come each day, and I, Fr. Joby Pendanath, have the privilege of steering the school’s vision as principal.
Our community is a blend of curious young minds and dedicated educators. We have a staff of over sixty teachers who work across the kindergarten play‑based program, the primary and secondary sections that follow the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board curriculum, and a commerce‑focused higher secondary stream for classes eleven and twelve. The house system—Blue, Green, Red and Yellow—adds a friendly spirit of competition, encouraging students to lead, cooperate and celebrate each other's achievements. The daily rhythm is lively, with classroom discussions, project work and regular house events that keep the atmosphere energetic yet focused.
