Responsibilities
- Plan, develop and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons for primary and secondary students, ensuring alignment with the school curriculum and learning objectives.
- Design and conduct a variety of physical activities, including team sports, individual fitness routines, and health education sessions that cater to diverse student abilities.
- Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment during all physical education classes, adhering to school safety protocols and health guidelines.
- Assess student performance through continuous observation, skill demonstrations, and structured evaluations, providing constructive feedback and progress reports.
- Coordinate with teachers from other subjects to integrate physical activity into interdisciplinary projects and school events.
- Organise and supervise school sports teams, inter‑school competitions, and annual sporting events, handling logistics such as equipment, scheduling, and coaching.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, injuries, and training logs, ensuring compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in Physical Education.
- Mentor and guide students in developing lifelong fitness habits, healthy lifestyles, and teamwork skills.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress, address concerns, and promote community involvement in school sports activities.
