TGT Chemistry Teacher Position at St. Marys English School in Bhavnagar
St. Marys English School in Bhavnagar seeks an enthusiastic TGT Chemistry Teacher to join their team and inspire students with a passion for science. The role involves shaping young minds through engaging chemistry lessons, fostering critical thinking, and preparing students for higher education and real-world applications.
Teaching duties will include delivering comprehensive chemistry classes across grades, designing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, and maintaining interactive labs to enhance practical learning. You will assess student progress through exams, projects, and continuous evaluation, ensuring each child grasps fundamental concepts like stoichiometry, chemical reactions, and periodic trends. Collaboration with the science department will be essential for interdisciplinary projects and resource sharing. Additionally, you’ll mentor students, encourage participation in science fairs, and help organize workshops to deepen their curiosity. Keeping parents informed through regular updates and parent-teacher meetings will also be part of your responsibilities.
To qualify, you must hold a postgraduate degree in Chemistry or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is required. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position.
This full-time role offers a competitive salary of Rs.19,000 to Rs.32,000 per month, along with a supportive environment in Bhavnagar, Gujarat.
