PRT Sanskrit Teacher Job in Mehsana, Gujarat | School Recruitment
Delhi Public School | Mehsana invites applications for a PRT Sanskrit Teacher to join their esteemed faculty in Kadi, Mehsana. This is a dedicated opportunity to teach Sanskrit, a foundational subject deeply rooted in India’s rich cultural heritage, within a vibrant school environment.
Responsibilities
Teach Sanskrit to students in Classes I to VIII, ensuring alignment with the school’s curriculum and national education standards. Develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate traditional texts, grammar, and cultural relevance, blending modern teaching methods with classical knowledge. Participate in school events, cultural festivals, and extracurricular activities that promote Sanskrit as a living language. Collaborate with the subject coordinator to assess student progress and recommend improvements in teaching strategies. Maintain a classroom environment that fosters respect for heritage while encouraging critical thinking and language proficiency.
Qualification
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree as the minimum requirement for this role. Possession of TET/CTET certification is highly preferred to demonstrate readiness for teaching in government and private schools. A graduate degree in Sanskrit or a related field is advantageous for deeper subject expertise.
Experience
Three years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is mandatory. Experience in teaching Sanskrit or a similar classical language is a strong asset. Familiarity with Gujarat’s education board syllabus would be beneficial.
