Physical Education Teacher Job in Panchmahal, Gujarat | School Vacancy
Shannen School | Halol is looking for a dynamic professional to lead its physical education program in Halol, Panchmahal, Gujarat. The role involves overseeing all aspects of sports and fitness activities, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for students.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize and supervise daily physical activities, sports events and competitions.
- Manage the school’s sports facilities, equipment inventory and maintenance schedules.
- Develop and implement safety protocols and emergency response procedures for all physical activities.
- Coordinate with senior management to align the physical education program with the school’s overall development goals.
- Conduct regular audits of facilities and report improvements or upgrades needed.
- Lead a small team of support staff, providing guidance, training and performance feedback.
- Prepare and present periodic reports on program outcomes, participation rates and budget utilization.
Skills
- Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for interaction with staff, students and parents.
- Ability to handle budgeting, resource allocation and procurement.
- Knowledge of safety standards and first‑aid procedures in sports settings.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting and record‑keeping.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a graduate degree in any discipline, with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be considered an advantage. A minimum of two years of relevant experience in managing school‑level physical education or sports programs is required.
Salary
The position offers a monthly remuneration of Rs.15,000 – Rs.30,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
