Physical Education Teacher Job in Vadodara, Gujarat | School Vacancy
Shannen World School in Vadodra, Vadodara is looking for a dedicated professional to manage its physical education department. The role involves overseeing daily sports activities, maintaining facilities and ensuring a safe, engaging environment for students.
Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate the school’s sports schedule, including inter‑class games, tournaments and annual sports day.
Supervise the use of playgrounds, gymnasiums and equipment, ensuring all resources are functional and safely stored.
Maintain attendance records, health clearances and performance logs for all participants.
Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement new fitness programs that align with the school’s holistic development goals.
Handle budgeting for sports supplies, negotiate with vendors and monitor inventory levels.
Organise training sessions for support staff and assist in arranging external coaches or specialists when required.
Prepare reports on student participation, event outcomes and facility usage for the principal and board.
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in managing school‑level physical education or sports programs.
Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate events and handle administrative tasks efficiently.
Qualification
Graduate degree from a recognized university.
Preference given to candidates with B.Ed or D.El.Ed and TET/CTET certification, though not mandatory.
Salary
Rs.14,000 – Rs.30,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Full‑time, permanent position with regular working hours and occasional weekend duties during major sports events.
