Mothers International School | Upelta invites a dedicated professional to lead its dance program as a Dance Teacher. This role involves hands-on coordination of daily dance classes, ensuring students receive structured training in techniques, choreography, and cultural appreciation. You will guide students through practice sessions, correct form, and foster a supportive environment where creativity thrives.
Your day begins with planning lesson sequences, selecting age-appropriate routines, and preparing materials like music playlists and props. You’ll conduct morning and afternoon sessions, adapting styles like ballet, contemporary, or folk dance to engage students of varying skill levels. Feedback sessions with parents will also be part of your responsibilities to discuss progress and set goals.
Beyond teaching, you’ll manage dance-related logistics—organizing rehearsals, coordinating with other departments for events, and ensuring equipment is maintained. Collaborating with school leadership, you’ll represent the dance program at parent-teacher meetings and school events, promoting its growth within the institution.
This full-time position offers a salary of Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month, with the opportunity to shape Mothers International School | Upelta’s artistic and cultural offerings. A postgraduate qualification in dance or related fields and two years of relevant experience are required.
