Role introduction
Mothers International School | Upelta in Upleta, Rajraj, Gujarat is looking for a dynamic professional to lead its Physical Education department. This full‑time position offers a salary of Rs.20,000 – Rs.35,000 per month and requires at least two years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and supervise all school‑wide sports and fitness activities.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive physical wellness programme for students of all ages.
- Manage the sports infrastructure, equipment inventory and maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate inter‑school competitions, tournaments and community events.
- Lead a team of assistants, providing guidance, performance feedback and professional development.
- Monitor student participation, health records and safety compliance during activities.
- Prepare periodic reports on programme outcomes for senior management.
- Liaise with parents, coaches and external sports organisations to enhance opportunities.
Qualification
Must Have
- Post‑graduate degree in Physical Education, Sports Science or related field.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed with minimum two years of administrative experience in a school setting.
Good to Have
- TET/CTET certification (preferred but not mandatory).
Skills
- Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
- Excellent organisational and budgeting skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with students, parents and staff.
- Knowledge of safety standards and first‑aid procedures.
- Ability to design inclusive fitness programmes catering to diverse abilities.
Salary and location
The role offers a monthly remuneration of Rs.20,000 – Rs.35,000 and is based in Upleta, Rajkot, Gujarat.
