Key Responsibilities
As a senior Mathematics department member, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing Mathematics curriculum for State Board of Gujarat
- Mentoring junior Mathematics staff to enhance their teaching skills
- Analyzing and improving Mathematics results at the school level
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement school policies
- Monitoring student progress and providing individualized support
- Participating in Mathematics department meetings to discuss curriculum and pedagogy
- Developing and implementing Mathematics resources and materials
- Evaluating and recommending Mathematics textbooks and resources
- Collaborating with other departments to develop interdisciplinary projects
- Representing the school at Mathematics events and competitions
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A B.Ed degree or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Mathematics
- NET or SET certification is preferred but not essential
- Strong knowledge of the State Board of Gujarat Mathematics curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents
