Job Description
Responsibilities
Teaching
Deliver engaging biology lessons to classes 9 and 10, using a blend of theoretical concepts and practical demonstrations.
Prepare lesson plans aligned with the Gujarat state curriculum and ensure smooth execution of lab activities.
Planning
Develop unit plans and assessment schedules, collaborating with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects.
Assessment
Conduct regular formative and summative assessments, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate student records.
Student Support
Identify learning gaps, offer remedial guidance, and mentor students preparing for board examinations.
Co‑ordination
Assist in organizing school science fairs, biology competitions, and parent‑teacher meetings as needed.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Biology or related field.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
Salary
Rs.40,000 – Rs.60,000 per month.
Location
Rajkot, Gujarat.
