Dholakiya International School in Gondal, Rajkot, Gujarat is looking for a full‑time TGT Biology Teacher. The role involves delivering the Biology curriculum to secondary students and fostering a curiosity for life sciences in a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct engaging Biology lessons for classes IX to XII in accordance with the state syllabus.
- Prepare practical laboratory sessions, ensure safety protocols, and assess student performance in experiments.
- Design and evaluate formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
- Integrate multimedia and interactive tools to enhance conceptual understanding of biological concepts.
- Mentor students for science fairs, Olympiads and other extracurricular biology activities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress reports as per school policies.
- Collaborate with senior faculty to develop interdisciplinary projects and improve overall teaching standards.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development programmes and contribute to school improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Biology or a related science discipline along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Preference will be given to those who have cleared TET/CTET, although it is not mandatory.
Experience
A minimum of two years of teaching experience at the secondary level is required. Experience in conducting laboratory practicals and handling student projects will be considered an advantage.
Salary
The offered remuneration ranges from Rs.22,000 to Rs.40,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Employment Type
