PGT Economics Teacher Responsibilities at Shannen School | Kapurai
Shannen School | Kapurai seeks a dedicated PGT Economics Teacher to guide students through advanced economic concepts in Vadodara. This role requires expertise in macro and microeconomics, along with a passion for fostering analytical thinking in young learners.
The successful candidate will design engaging lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum while adapting teaching methods to diverse student abilities. You’ll conduct interactive classes, use real-world examples, and encourage critical discussion on topics like supply and demand, inflation, and economic policies. Classroom management will also be key—ensuring a structured yet dynamic learning environment.
For the role, a postgraduate degree in Economics is essential, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in economics or related subjects, will be highly valued. While TET/CTET isn’t mandatory, a teaching certificate is beneficial.
Beyond instruction, you’ll collaborate with subject coordinators to refine syllabi and assess student progress. Participation in school events, such as workshops or guest lectures, may also be part of the role.
