Job Description
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging music lessons for PGT classes, incorporating vocal, instrumental and theoretical components. Conduct regular practice sessions, organize school concerts and cultural events, and assess student progress through performances and written work. Maintain classroom discipline, prepare teaching aids, and collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary activities.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in Music or related discipline along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Preference given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET. Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Indian and Western music theory and practical performance.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching experience in a school setting, handling senior classes and preparing students for examinations and performances. Experience in conducting school bands, choirs or cultural programs is advantageous.
Salary
Rs.35,000 - Rs.55,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
