Job Description
PRT Music Teacher Responsibilities at Shannen School
You will teach music classes to students in grades 1 to 8, ensuring engaging and age-appropriate lessons. Your role includes conducting vocal and instrumental sessions, focusing on instruments like piano, guitar, or voice training based on student interest. You’ll also develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum, ensuring practical application and musical development.
You’ll assess students’ progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to help them improve. Collaborate with the music coordinator to organize school performances, workshops, and cultural events where students showcase their skills. Maintain a supportive and inclusive environment to encourage participation from all students.
Eligibility for the PRT Music Teacher Position
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. At least two years of teaching experience in a school setting is required. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role. Your passion for music education and ability to inspire young learners will be key.
Salary and Employment Details
