We are looking for a dedicated Sports Teacher to oversee and manage sports activities for students at Shannen School, Vip Road. This role involves leading daily sports sessions, ensuring student participation and adherence to safety protocols. You will organize and conduct drills, games, and fitness programs tailored to students’ ages and skill levels.
Monitoring student performance and providing constructive feedback during practice sessions is a key responsibility. You’ll also assist in organizing school sports events, such as inter-house competitions, ensuring fair play and smooth logistics. Ensuring equipment is well-maintained and available for use is part of your daily tasks.
Collaborating with the school’s administrative team to plan annual sports festivals and coordinating with external coaches for specialized training is essential. You’ll also document student progress, track attendance for sports-related activities, and ensure compliance with school policies. This position requires a hands-on approach with a focus on leadership and teamwork.
The role demands physical stamina and a passion for sports, along with experience in managing group dynamics. A graduate degree with at least two years of relevant experience is required, though TET/CTET is not mandatory. Salary for this full-time position ranges from Rs.17,000 to Rs.30,000 per month.
