Role Introduction
Shannen School | Amitnagar in Vadodara, Gujarat is looking for a full‑time PRT Art And Craft Teacher. The position involves teaching primary students, fostering creativity and guiding them through hands‑on projects in a vibrant school environment.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Art and Craft lessons for classes I to V, aligning activities with the school curriculum and developmental milestones. Prepare and maintain teaching aids, materials and a safe, organized classroom space. Conduct regular assessments of student work, provide constructive feedback and maintain progress records. Organise exhibitions, craft fairs and cultural events to showcase student talent. Collaborate with senior teachers and support staff to integrate art across subjects and participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
Qualifications and Experience
Graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Art Education or related field; minimum two years of teaching experience in a primary school setting. Knowledge of basic TET/CTET guidelines is preferred, though not mandatory. Ability to manage classroom dynamics, inspire young learners and handle art materials safely. Good communication skills in Gujarati and English, with a collaborative attitude.
Closing
