PRT Art And Craft Teacher Job in Vadodara, Gujarat | School Recruitment
Shannen School | Kapurai in Vadodara is looking for a full‑time PRT Art and Craft teacher. The role involves planning and delivering creative lessons to primary students and maintaining a vibrant classroom environment.
Responsibilities
1. Design and implement age‑appropriate Art and Craft curriculum aligned with school standards.
2. Conduct hands‑on sessions that develop fine motor skills, imagination, and cultural awareness.
3. Prepare teaching aids, materials, and displays that enhance visual learning.
4. Assess student work regularly and provide constructive feedback to foster improvement.
5. Organise exhibitions, workshops and inter‑class competitions to showcase student talent.
6. Maintain classroom discipline, safety and cleanliness during all activities.
7. Collaborate with senior teachers and participate in staff meetings and professional development.
8. Keep accurate records of attendance, progress reports and inventory of art supplies.
Qualification and Experience
Candidate must hold a graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed and possess at least 2 years of experience teaching Art and Craft at the primary level. TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills, creativity and the ability to manage a diverse classroom are essential.
Salary and Location
The position offers Rs.14,000 - Rs.22,000 per month and is based in Vadodara, Gujarat.
