Baps Swaminarayan Vidyamandir | Atladara seeks a dedicated TGT Physical Education Teacher to inspire and develop young athletes in Vadodara. Teaching Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging physical education lessons aligned with school curriculum standards. Incorporate age-appropriate sports activities, team games, and fitness programs to enhance students’ physical and mental well-being. Utilize interactive teaching methods to keep students motivated and improve their athletic skills.
Planning and Curriculum Development
Develop and update physical education syllabi, ensuring they meet educational benchmarks and align with Gujarat’s school standards. Collaborate with the school’s academic team to integrate sports education into broader educational goals. Plan seasonal sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities to encourage teamwork and discipline.
Student Support and Mentorship
Act as a role model for students, promoting values like perseverance, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles. Provide individual guidance to students with varying skill levels, ensuring inclusivity in sports participation. Monitor student progress in physical activities and offer constructive feedback to help them improve.
Coordination and Administrative Tasks
Work closely with school administration to ensure smooth implementation of physical education programs. Assist in organizing school sports days, inter-house competitions, and outdoor activities. Maintain records of student participation, attendance, and performance in sports.
Experience and Qualifications
A postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field is essential. Four years of teaching experience in Physical Education, preferably in a school setting, is required. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this role, it is highly beneficial for career advancement.
The role offers a competitive salary of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month, with the opportunity to contribute to a nurturing educational environment in Vadodara.
