Key Responsibilities in Physical Education
Plan and conduct age-appropriate PE lessons covering sports, fitness routines, and health education. Develop and assess student performance through practical activities like team sports, individual drills, and obstacle courses. Collaborate with school administrators to integrate PE into the broader curriculum, ensuring alignment with academic and extracurricular goals.
Teach fundamental sports skills such as cricket, football, basketball, athletics, and swimming where available. Organize inter-house and inter-school competitions to foster team spirit and healthy competition. Maintain equipment inventory, ensure safety protocols are followed during activities, and troubleshoot issues related to sports facilities.
Teaching and Development Focus
Incorporate modern teaching methodologies like gamification and technology (e.g., VR fitness apps) to enhance student engagement.
