Daily work involves conducting engaging laboratory sessions and interactive lessons for classes 6 to 8, ensuring students grasp core scientific concepts while developing practical skills. Students are guided through experiments that illustrate principles of physics, chemistry, and biology, fostering curiosity and analytical thinking.
Scope of the Role
The role covers planning and delivering curriculum-aligned Science lessons, managing classroom resources, and coordinating with co‑ordinators to integrate cross‑disciplinary projects. Teachers facilitate group work, maintain laboratory safety, and support students in preparing for competitive examinations.
Core Academic Duties
Prepare lesson plans that align with the state syllabus, deliver clear explanations of scientific theories, and use visual aids to enhance understanding. Supervise practicals, ensuring accurate data collection and safe handling of chemicals and equipment. Mentor students in science competitions, providing guidance on problem solving and research methods.
Assessment and Planning Duties
Design formative assessments such as quizzes, lab reports, and project presentations to gauge student progress. Compile and analyse results to identify learning gaps, adjusting instructional strategies accordingly. Participate in curriculum review meetings, contributing insights on effective teaching methodologies.
Qualification and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in Science required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory, with TET/CTET preferred. Minimum four years of teaching experience in a school setting, demonstrating proficiency in delivering Science content and managing laboratory environments.
Salary and Location
Full‑time position at Woxy Science Competition Classes | Bhiwani, Bhiwani, Haryana. Salary range Rs.25,000 – Rs.35,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role offers a supportive teaching environment focused on nurturing scientific talent.
