PGT Physical Education Teacher Job in Faridabad, Haryana | School Recruitment

Role Summary
The PGT Physical Education Teacher will be responsible for delivering structured sports and fitness programs at Satyug Darshan Vidayalya. The role involves coaching students from grades 6 to 12 in athletics, games, and physical fitness routines. Lesson plans must align with CBSE Physical Education curriculum and include skill drills, team games, and health education components.
What You Will Do
1. Plan and conduct daily Physical Education classes for 60–90 minutes per session.
2. Organize inter-house and inter-school sports competitions at Satyug Darshan Vidayalya.
3. Maintain equipment inventory and ensure safe use of sports facilities.
4. Assess student fitness levels twice a year and record progress in school records.
5. Lead yoga, aerobics, and meditation sessions for senior students.
6. Coordinate with the school health team for annual sports day medical checks.
7. Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student participation and performance.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Physical Education or Sports Science from a recognized university is required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for teaching at the senior secondary level. Minimum two years of full-time teaching experience in a school environment is essential. Experience with CBSE curriculum and sports event management will be preferred. Knowledge of Haryana school sports policies is an added advantage.
Salary and Benefits
The monthly salary ranges between Rs.40,000 and Rs.70,000 based on qualifications and experience. Benefits include PF, gratuity, and annual health check-ups for the teacher. Leave policy follows CBSE norms with provisions for sports event leaves. In-house sports kit and uniform are provided.
