- Overseeing the Social Science department's academic activities and ensuring compliance with curriculum guidelines.
- Collaborating with other departments to develop interdisciplinary programs and projects.
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to measure student progress and departmental performance.
- Maintaining accurate records of student performance, attendance, and departmental activities.
- Participating in school-wide events and contributing to the development of a positive school culture.
- Staying updated on the latest Social Science trends, research, and methodologies to enhance teaching and learning.
- Developing and implementing innovative teaching methods to cater to diverse learner needs.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A postgraduate degree in Social Science (M.A., M.Sc.) or a related field.
- A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a school setting, with at least 2 years of experience in a senior teaching role.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared NET or SET in Social Science.
- Strong knowledge of Social Science pedagogy, curriculum, and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
