TGT Social Science Teacher Position at St. Thomas School, Faridabad
St. Thomas School in Faridabad seeks a dedicated TGT Social Science Teacher to inspire and guide students in their understanding of history, geography, economics, and political science. This role focuses on delivering engaging classroom instruction while fostering critical thinking and civic awareness. The successful candidate will contribute to shaping young minds through interactive lessons, assessments, and extracurricular activities.
Teaching duties will include designing lesson plans aligned with the curriculum, delivering lectures, and using multimedia tools to enhance learning. You’ll also conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback. Participation in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and collaborative planning sessions will be part of the responsibilities.
Qualifications:
A postgraduate degree in Social Science or a related field is mandatory.
A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is required.
A valid TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience:
At least two years of teaching experience in Social Science at the secondary level is essential. Experience with diverse student backgrounds and innovative teaching methods is a plus.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month, along with a supportive environment to grow professionally within St. Thomas School.
