Suncity School in Gurgaon seeks a dedicated Maths Head of Department to oversee the academic and operational excellence of the subject across its curriculum. This role demands strong leadership in curriculum planning, resource allocation, and teacher development specifically within Maths. The Maths Hod will lead monthly departmental meetings to discuss syllabus updates, assessment strategies, and classroom practices. Experience in school-based Maths administration—including budgeting for textbooks, labs, and digital resources—will be critical. This role also involves representing Suncity School at educational forums, sharing best practices, and ensuring compliance with curriculum guidelines.
A postgraduate degree in Mathematics or Education with at least four years of relevant experience is essential. While teaching qualifications like TET/CTET are not mandatory, a proven track record in curriculum leadership and school administration will be highly valued. The salary for this full-time position is Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 80,000 per month.
