PGT Political Science Teacher Job in Gurugram, Haryana | School Recruitment
Role Summary
Ambience Public School invites applications for the PGT Political Science Teacher Vacancy in Gurugram. Day-to-Day Duties
Design lesson plans covering Indian Constitution, Political Theory, and International Relations.
Deliver engaging lectures using audio-visual aids and interactive methods.
Prepare weekly tests and semester exams as per school academic calendar.
Organize debates, quizzes, and model UN simulations to enhance student participation.
Maintain accurate attendance records and submit reports to the academic coordinator.
Guide students in project work on current political scenarios and constitutional amendments.
Coordinate with other Humanities teachers for interdisciplinary activities.
Participate in PTMs and parent-teacher discussions to discuss student performance.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
Postgraduate degree in Political Science with minimum 50% marks
B.Ed from a recognized institution
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school
Good to Have
D.El.Ed or CTET qualification
Experience in curriculum development for Political Science
Familiarity with OBE and continuous assessment methods
Preferred Skills
Strong command over spoken and written English and Hindi
Proficiency in using smart classrooms and digital teaching tools
Ability to mentor students in competitive exam preparation like UPSC-CSE prelims
