Job Description
PGT Political Science Teacher Position at K.R. Mangalam World School, Gurugram
K.R. Mangalam World School in Gurugram seeks an experienced Political Science teacher to join its faculty and inspire students with engaging lessons in governance, international relations, and contemporary political theories. This role is ideal for a dedicated educator who can blend academic rigor with practical relevance to prepare students for critical thinking in today’s dynamic world.
The selected candidate will design and deliver comprehensive Political Science lessons across Class 11 and 12, ensuring alignment with the CBSE curriculum while fostering analytical skills. You will create interactive classroom environments that encourage debates on governance, human rights, and global politics, using multimedia tools and real-world case studies. Lesson planning must incorporate assessments that evaluate understanding of constitutional frameworks, political ideologies, and current affairs. Regular engagement with students will include one-on-one guidance to address their academic and intellectual growth.
You will also collaborate with the school’s academic team to develop supplementary resources, such as study guides, mock exams, and project-based learning modules, to enhance student engagement. Participation in school-wide events—like debates, essay competitions, and guest lectures by political experts—will be expected to strengthen students’ exposure to political discourse. Maintaining transparency in grading and providing constructive feedback will ensure students develop both academic confidence and critical analysis skills.
The ideal candidate holds a postgraduate degree in Political Science or a related discipline with at least two years of teaching experience. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory, along with a valid TET/CTET certificate preferred. The role offers a competitive salary of Rs. 42,000 to Rs. 68,000 per month, along with opportunities for professional growth within K.R.
