IbMYP Political Science Teacher Position at DPS International in Gurugram
DPS International in Gurugram is seeking an experienced Political Science teacher to join its International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IbMYP) faculty. This role requires a passionate educator who can engage students with dynamic lessons on governance, international relations, and contemporary political theories.
Teach Political Science at the IbMYP level, covering key topics like democracy, human rights, and global politics. Develop lesson plans aligned with IbMYP curriculum standards and assessment criteria. Engage students through interactive discussions, debates, and real-world case studies to foster critical thinking.
Collaborate with the school’s academic team to integrate political science concepts into cross-curricular projects. Prepare and assess students’ IbMYP assessments, including projects and exams, ensuring high standards of excellence. Maintain open communication with parents and stakeholders to address any concerns related to student progress.
Hold a postgraduate degree in Political Science or a related field. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a global curriculum or international school setting, is essential. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.35,000 to Rs.60,000 per month. This full-time position is based in Gurugram, Haryana.
