The teacher must also prepare and maintain PE equipment, organize inter-house sports events, and collaborate with coaches to develop student skill sets. Candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Physical Education or a related field. A minimum of four years of teaching experience, preferably in schools, is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly beneficial for career progression. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills, adaptability to diverse student needs, and a passion for promoting physical well-being through sports and fitness.
