Design weekly lesson plans covering athletics, gymnastics and indigenous games like kabaddi and kho-kho.
Conduct fitness tests twice a year and maintain individual student health records.
Train boys’ and girls’ teams for inter-school tournaments in football, cricket and athletics.
Arrange inter-house sports meets every semester with medals and certificates.
Collaborate with the yoga instructor to integrate mindfulness sessions for stress relief.
Monitor equipment inventory and submit purchase requests for replacements and new gear.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings to explain sports progress and upcoming fixtures.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or B.P.Ed from a recognized university.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed with minimum 55% marks.
Three years of full-time teaching experience in a school setting.
Preference for candidates who have cleared CTET or Haryana TET.
Salary and Benefits
Rs.25,000 to Rs.45,000 per month based on experience and qualifications.
