Lumina World School in Jind, Haryana is looking for a PRT English teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The role involves engaging students across classes, supporting curriculum delivery, and fostering a love for language and literature.
Daily responsibilities
- Deliver prepared lessons in English, ensuring clarity and interaction.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Record attendance and update daily learning progress.
- Prepare and distribute handouts or worksheets for immediate use.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle
- Plan and execute unit lessons aligned with the school syllabus.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, and oral presentations.
- Collaborate with peers to integrate cross‑subject projects.
- Participate in faculty meetings and professional development sessions.
Periodic responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct class‑level tests and examinations.
- Prepare reports on student progress for parents and school administration.
- Contribute to school events such as literary competitions and cultural festivals.
Qualification and experience
- Graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed; TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a school setting.
- Strong command of English grammar, literature, and communication skills.
- Ability to use technology to enhance classroom instruction.
Salary and location
- Competitive salary ranging from Rs.13,000 to Rs.20,000 per month.
