Job Description
PRT Music Teacher Responsibilities at Lumina World School, Jind
Teach fundamental music theory, rhythm, and vocal/instrumental basics to students in the primary section. Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with school curriculum standards for early music education.
Guide hands-on activities like singing, playing simple instruments, and basic music notation. Observe and assess student progress in practical and theoretical aspects of music.
Prepare and deliver classroom sessions with clear, age-appropriate content. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music into interdisciplinary learning where possible.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as per CBSE guidelines.
Minimum two years of teaching experience at the primary level preferred. Knowledge of Indian classical and folk music traditions is a plus.
