Post: Primary Resource Teacher (PRT) for Music at Lumina World School, Jind
Lumina World School in Jind seeks a dedicated PRT Music Teacher to inspire students with engaging music education. This role focuses on delivering foundational music theory, instruments, and performance skills while fostering creativity and discipline. The teacher will work closely with younger learners to develop their musical talents through structured lessons, group activities, and practical demonstrations.
Core responsibilities include designing and implementing daily music curriculum aligned with school standards. You’ll conduct hands-on lessons covering instruments like the violin, keyboard, or voice, ensuring students grasp basic techniques and musical concepts. Weekly assessments and progress tracking will help identify strengths and areas for improvement, guiding personalized learning plans.
Secondary duties involve collaborating with the music faculty to enhance school events, such as concerts and cultural festivals. To qualify, a Bachelor’s degree in Music or Education is essential, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Three years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in schools, is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly valued.
