The primary responsibilities include planning and conducting physical education classes covering a wide range of sports—football, basketball, swimming, athletics, and team games. You’ll also supervise extracurricular sports events, organize inter-house competitions, and ensure students adhere to safety protocols during outdoor activities. Collaboration with the school’s sports coordinator and parent-teacher associations will help promote sportsmanship and community involvement in physical fitness initiatives.
To qualify, candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Physical Education or a related field. Four years of teaching experience, preferably in physical education or sports-related roles, is essential. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage. A strong background in sports science, coaching techniques, and classroom management will be highly valued.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs.25,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, along with a supportive work environment in Jind, Haryana.
